This transaction transfers AVAILABLE units from one Facility Site to another internal Facility Site.
This is a direct transfer of custody between internal teams and facility location.
The units will remain as a status of AVAILABLE.
If the transfer between facilities will have an in-transit condition, consider using the shipping infrastructure. This will set the units selected to transfer to the custody of the carrier with the status of ‘In-Transit’ and will then be received (Receive Transfer) when it arrives to the destination facility location to again update the location, custodian, and status back to available.
Transfer From
Default to the facility the user completing the transfer is logged in under. The user completing the transfer must be in custody of the units.
Transfer To
Select the facility to transfer the units being selected TO. This remains defaulted and read only until the transaction is cleared by the clear action or by leaving the transaction.
Transfer Unit ID
Begin selecting the units to transfer. Units can be any unit that is available in custody of the team and facility the user is working under.
Assign To
Select the area location for the destination Facility to move the items to for this unit. The area remains defaulted for additional transfer adds but can be changed at any time. It is cleared using the clear action button or by leaving the transaction.
Units transferred during the current session of the transaction will be displayed to the right (portal) or under the review screen (mobile). The list of units will be cleared with either the Clear action button on portal or by leaving the transaction.
To transfer units that are checked out to another user or project/job site, use the Transfer Custody transaction.
