The Transfer Custody transaction provides the ability to transfer units that are checked out to another user and/or project/job site assignment without requiring a check in action first.
Handle.
Scan or select the handle of a checked-out unit to transfer.
The unit details, the person and the project/job site the unit is currently checked out to will display
Transfer To User
Select the user to transfer to. You can select the same user if needed if the transfer is only between the project/job.
Transfer To Project
Select the project to transfer the unit to if different than the current project/job.
The submit will update the unit with the new custodian user and project/job site assignment.
