General Improvements

  • Separated open and closed status for reservation grid view.
  • Added additional data fields for user setup to include Department, Role/Job Title, and Notes. These fields are text fields.

Check Out Transaction

  • Added the ability to remove a unit from a pending check out.
  • Moved the checked into area assignment to the start of the transaction for more speedy capture to check in multiple units.
  • If a unit with a checked-out status is selected to reserve or check out, the option to complete an on-the-fly check in has been added. The unit can then immediately be added to the new reservation or check out without leaving that transaction.
  • The check-out period and expected return date fields for units are enabled based on an item template rule. These fields will not be presented to the user if not enabled. This will allow setting rules for different item types.

Check In Transaction

  • Return To (area assignment) field will remain defaulted after assigned for the first item checked in for the session. The Return To assignment can be changed as needed.
  • Added the list of that have been checked in during the active session for the transaction.
  • A link to the Check In transaction has been added to the checked-out unit’s grid view.

Receive New Unit Improvements

  • Received FROM field has been updated to capture select either a vendor or customer. Vendors and customers must be set up in the system to select from.
  • Added a Received FOR field to support receiving units on behalf of another team. The received unit will be assigned to the selected team as the owner (when tracking ownership by team) and the units will be received in custody of the current team/facility the user receiving the units is logged in under.
  • Added the ability to set the first entered value on an attribute as a default for adding multiple units for the same item master.  Setup is part of the item template unit attribute setup.

Transfer Custody Transaction Improvements

  • The current transaction was re-named Transfer Site Location to better represent the function of the transaction.
  • A new Transfer Custody transaction was added. Transfer Custody supports transfer of checked out units to another user or project without the need to complete check in and check out steps.
