All serialized units with the rule ‘Track Maintenance Activities for this Item’ checked, maintenance can be recorded.
All maintenance is completed against a Maintenance Template. Be sure all maintenance activities are set up regardless of if a corresponding maintenance plan is defined. Attributes defined under the maintenance template will then be displayed to capture.
Components can also be recorded as issued as part of the maintenance actions. Items available to select from will have the rule enabled “Consumable for Maintenance and Usage Transactions”. The components issues will be recorded and displayed on the left under the Components Used section or in the tab on mobile.
Maintenance Performed On
The unit the maintenance action is being performed against.
If there is a maintenance plan associated with the unit, the maintenance plan(s) and due date(s) will be displayed.
Maintenance Action
Select the maintenance action (template) for the maintenance action being completed.
Once selected, the attributes defined for that maintenance action will be displayed to be captured.
Issue Item (Components Used)
Record the components used as part of the maintenance activity. The components must be tracked within the system with the item rule “Consumable for Maintenance and Usage transactions.”
The list of components issued will display during the current session until the form is cleared or the user exits.
When maintenance action is completed, if there is a maintenance plan attached, the next maintenance date will be updated based on the frequency defined.
