The grouping feature was designed with the intention of grouping serial-tracked assets under a Group ID that would correspond to an ERP fixed asset record. This supports the ability to setup the financial asset tracking record to represent multiple assets and maintain tracking the individual units in Panatracker.
Per the screenshot example below, the ERP Fixed Asset Record Number is represented as the Group ID Number (A). The individual item units listed are those grouped and associated with the group number for audit purposes.
Like all other grid views throughout the system, filters can be applied. The Mass Select option allows the ability to filter on item, purchase order, receipt date, etc. All items returned in the filter can then be selected to apply the Group ID association.
