The generic transaction feature isn’t used with the GP system.
The “Generic Transaction” is our stub for a custom-written data-collection transaction. It’s a new feature that was just introduced into 6.3 and is intended to be used with our consulting services to create a way to record data that isn’t used in GP. This transaction isn’t intended for normal use, but rather is a framework for us to develop a way to capture a “generic” set of fields and use them in a pseudo-customized way to load data for a specific purpose. (For example, someone might have a desire to capture a barcoded event ticket and entry gate at an event and record the information in a custom table. The error message you see is a default that demonstrates the validation capability for a field.)
Disable the use of Generic Transactions by setting “EnableGenericTransaction” to “FALSE” in your PanatrackerGP settings page.
