Flex Fields are additional fields available to be enabled to capture additional data for transactions. Most of the PanatrackerGP transactions include the option to set up Flex Fields. For some transactions, there are also unit-level flex fields available to configure.
Setup Flex Fields from the portal under Configure>>Flex Field Configuration page.
Flex Fields are numbered and associated with each transaction.
For example, there is a Flex Field 1 for every transaction.
The [Edit] will enable the ability to set the Field Name and Behavior. The Field Name is the field label name displayed. We recommend keeping the label name short for best display.
Behavior Options include Disabled (not used); Optional and Required.
List Mode checkbox allows the ability to add a List Stored Proc to display value selections to the user. There is also a Validation Stored Proc assignment that can be made. Contact our Professional Services team for assistance with this more complex setup feature.
