This transaction requires using set up of multiple bin tracking in GP. Additional bin setup to support this includes:
- Restock bin to be setup as Priority 1 bin on the Item-Site Default Bin setup in GP. The logic to trigger a restock is based on the MIN QUANTITY assignment. The restock quantity is calculated on the MAX QUANTITY. For example, if an item has a MIN quantity set at 100 and the MAX quantity set at 200, when the bin available quantity falls below 100, the item will appear in the Restock Bin Move transaction. The restock quantity will be based on the MAX Quantity – Available Quantity.
- If the PanatrackerGP Advanced Bin Management module is installed, then Overstock Bin types need to be defined. Only Overstock Bin types will be available as the Move From Bin.
The To Bin field provides the validation that the correct bin was selected for the restock move for the item.
