This transaction is ideal for moving multiple items out of the same location to different bin areas. Most common use is after receiving steps to a general dock bin area; the items are then put away to their stock bin locations.
Site
This may be defaulted from a setting based on the user profile or the user may select or change.
From Bin
Select the bin the items are being moved FROM. This will remain defaulted until exit from this transaction.
Item
Scan or select the item to move. The item list will be the items currently in the From Bin entered.
To Bin
When the setting Default Put Away Bin is NOT set to None, then the destination bin will be defaulted. The options are
- Sales Order Fulfillment Default (item)
- Purchase Receipts Default (item)
- First Priority Bin
To Bin Sort Order.
- Bin Order
- Least Quantity Available
- Greatest Quantity Available
- Priority Bin Assignment
- Priority Bin Min to Max Calculated Available
Quantity
Enter the quantity to move (item is tracked by quantity)
If LOT tracked, then select the Lot and the lot quantity to move.
If SERIAL tracked, then scan the serials to move. Once all serials are moved, focus will return to the Item field.
Each submit will execute a bin-to-bin move in GP. This is a real-time transaction that requires no further posting step in GP; therefore, your inventory quantities are updated immediately.
