Device Setup

From the Panatracker portal, you can find the list of devices under Configure>>Device Setup.

On the Device setup page, the current server version is displayed. Any devices out-of-date with that version will display the Version in red text.

The Device Setup page also supports these functions:

  • Deleting a device.
  • Inactivating and Reactivating a device. Note that you cannot activate more devices than you are licensed for.
  • Device ID information.
  • Review of Version and OS Information.
  • Review the Last Registered date.
  • Review the IP Address for the device.

Legacy Settings – WM Devices Only

  • Logon Required. The Android application requires all users to log on to the device application. WM does not have that requirement.
  • Device Profile. Since user logon is required for Android, the profile used is the user’s profile and not the device profile.
  • TrxPrefix. This was used for the WM field inventory and sales module that supported off-line data capture. The prefix was used for transactions created to eliminate potential duplicate transaction numbers when offline transactions were recorded and synchronized.
