Table of Contents

Processes a GP Bin Transfer Entry transaction. This is a real-time transaction to move items from one bin to another under the same site. There is no GP posting step required; therefore, inventory is immediately updated.

From Bin
Select the bin to move the item from. The look up list will display the list of bins the item is currently located, and the current available and on hand quantities. The bin selected must have a quantity to move to be selected.

UOM
The base UOM is defaulted. If Use UOM for Item Bin Move is set to true, a different unit of measure can be selected. The transaction is recorded in the unit of measure entered.

  • When set to Enter Quantity, the number of serials to move is entered first, then the serials scanned. When the serials scanned = the quantity to move, the form is reset to capture the next item number.
