UOM Default Type
This is a legacy WM setting where UOM is set based on alternative logic than the item base unit of measure.

  • Standard Logic. Uses the item Base UOM or UOM from purchase order or sales order.
  • Base UOM. Will always set UOM to the item Base UOM.
  • Selling UOM. Uses the item’s selling UOM. This must be defined for ALL items in GP.
  • Purchasing UOM. Uses the item’s purchasing UOM. This must be defined for ALL items in GP.

Use UOM for Inventory

The transactions are submitted to GP in the UOM entered for the transaction. Only unit of measure options defined on the UOM Schedule applied to the item are available to select from when enabled.

Use UOM based on Item Number Scan
Requires Panatracker SKU to UOM module to be licensed. Requires setup of corresponding UOM assignment to the manufacturer item cross reference numbers associated with the item. Based on the item number scanned, the corresponding UOM will be automatically used. This requires that the proper UOM setup is completed in GP.
