Scanning into quantity fields

We had a number of customers ask us to help them avoid scanning item codes into quantity fields. (This resulted in accidental HUGE transactions.) Therefore, a new setting was added to disable the scanner in quantity fields. You can easily change this setting to re-allow quantity field scanning. This is found in the System Settings page in the settings tab. The name of this setting is called AllowScanInQuantityField. Just change this setting value to “true” and the scanner will be disabled when in the quantity field.
