Zebra printer Thermal Transfer setting

Printers that are set to Default Print Method = “Thermal Transfer” can revert to “Direct Thermal” setting automatically.  That caused NiceLabel to fail during printing.  

To prevent this behavior, perform the following steps: 

  1. On the server running NiceLabel Automation, check the Printer Preferences > Media to make sure it is set to Thermal Transfer.
  2. Open Printer Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults > Media and check to make sure it is set to Thermal Transfer there as well.
