Manufacturers don’t typically advertise battery life since there are dependencies on continuous use and various settings. For example, someone that is constantly using the handheld for a full shift that has screen brightness setting that are high and backlight continually on will get less battery life than a user that may have downtime periods and has set a shorter backlight turn off when unit is not in use. The industrial handhelds are designed for battery life to span a full shift with continuous use (8-10 hours). We always recommend that when the unit is not in use, it be put in the charging cradle. We actually have very few that have had the need for optional spare battery charging (except for larger customers that run back-to-back shifts).
