INIT error on Android device

To resolve the INIT error, please do the following:

  1. Log out and fully close the PanatrackerGP application.
  2. Log in to your PanatrackerGP portal, navigate to the Device Setup page.
  3. Find the device with the INIT error and delete it from the Device Setup page.
  4. On the handheld, hold down on the PanatrackerGP application icon and select App Info.
  5. Select Storage.
  6. Click Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  7. Start up the PanatrackerGP application.
  8. You’ll need to reenter the Device Name and Server. The server should be located on the bottom of the Device Setup (you can scan the barcode found under Device Setup for Android).
  9. Activate the device on the Device Setup page
