These are the settings associated specifically for Serial-Tracked Items
Serial Sort Order
Define the serial sort order for look up lists.
- Serial Code
- Receipt Date
- Location (may not be applied to all transactions)
Allow Select All Serials in Bin [Order Fulfill]
When enabled, when the pick from bin selected has the number of serial numbers equal to or less than the quantity to fulfill, all serials for that bin can automatically be selected without the need to scan each serial number.
Serial Quantity Capture Behavior Settings
There are several transactions that support the ability to enter the quantity of serial numbers to capture for the item versus simply counting the number of serial numbers scanned.
- Count Scans option will count the scans and display the quantity captured for the item in a read-only quantity field.
- Enter Quantity will allow the user to first enter the quantity of serial numbers to capture. Once the serial numbers scanned has reached that number, no further serial numbers can be added.
This is available to set on the following transactions:
- Add Adjustment
- Receiving
- Remove Adjustment
- Manufacturing
- Item Bin Move
- Site Transfer
Stock Count Throw Warning on Serial Add
Enables a warning message to be displayed to the user when an unexpected serial number is captured. The serial is logged with a status of warning for review. Serial numbers cannot be added to the Stock Count Schedule automatically as the serial number may exist but in a different location requiring a transfer, not an adjustment.
Allow Select All Serials on Put Away
On the put-away transaction, all serials from the From Bin will be automatically moved to the To Bin without requiring scanning each serial.
Allow Item-Level Count for Serial Tracked Items
When using the Stock Count transaction, when enabled, the user may enter the total count for the item for the site+bin being counted. If the count matches the number of serial numbers, all serial numbers are marked as verified and do not need to be scanned individually.
